Dr. Bruno Schuermans TUM-IAS Post Fellow

At the end of September the three years Rudolf Diesel Industry Fellowship of Dr. Bruno Schuermans at the TUM-IAS expired. These three years were characterized by an intensive and extremely fruitful collaboration between him and the Institute of Thermodynamics, mainly in the field of high-frequency combustion instabilities in gas turbines. The Chair of Thermodynamics has achieved a leading role in this area, as is shown by various presentations at international conferences and a large number of journal publications. We would like to thank Dr. Bruno Schuermans for his groundbreaking contributions and look forward to continuing the cooperation with him as TUM-IAS Post Fellow.
