PD Dr Camilo Silva receives the Habilitation Prize of the Freunde der TUM e.V. association

Great news for the group of Thermofluid Dynamics and especially for PD Dr. Camilo Silva! The Freunde der TUM e.V. awarded Camilo Silva the habilitation prize 2024 for his outstanding research in the field of thermoacoustics. The habilitation thesis reviews the research carried out during the last decade on intrinsic thermoacoustic instabilities and offers perspectives for future work on this fascinating and sometimes paradoxical phenomenon. The thesis was published last year as a review paper in Progress in Energy and Combustion Science (PECS). Congratulations, Camilo!
